Come Celebrate Social Workers' Day With Us!

It's that time of the year again when social workers in Singapore gather to celebrate Social Workers' Day! Join us at the Concorde Hotel on 16 March to meet up with your social work buddies, enrich yourself at the inaugural Social Workers' Day Symposium as well as enjoy sumptuous food during the Dinner.

This year's Social Workers' Day is spearheaded by the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) and supported by Ministry for Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) and National Council of Social Services (NCSS).

Here's a message direct from the President of SASW herself:

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
As we look forward to the celebration of our profession on March 16th 2010 at Concorde Hotel, I urge all of you to reflect on the journey Social Workers have travelled since the 1970's. We have unstintingly pushed for greater recognition, and now we seem to be seeing some 'early shoots.' I would like to see an overwhelming turnout at the Symposium and Dinner (especially Dinner as the Minister is coming to grace the occasion).

The Exco has worked tirelessly together with the SASW staff to organise the events, so please come and enjoy the fellowship and show your support for the social work profession.
